The World Tallest Christmas Tree in Rio





The Tree is inaugurated with a huge show of fireworks, lighting effects, famous artists and singers, Symphonic Orchestra and Choir.






Every year, there is a Christmas Tree in the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Rio de Janeiro.

The Tree was 76 meters high and recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest floating Christmas Tree of the world. Today, its height reaches 85 meters. As the time went by, light cannons, movements, water ballet and an electronic carillon with tolling bells and Christmas songs were added to the other attractions.

This is the 14th consecutive edition of the Bradesco Christmas Tree which has been included already in the official agenda of Rio de Janeiro. Happy Christmas!
